Roll-Em-Up Taquitos: A Coachella valley favorite

Just a short drive from Outdoor Resort Indio, Roll-Em-Up Taquitos in Palm Desert is one of those hidden gems you’ll find yourself craving again and again, specializing in taquitos, street corn, fresh made tortilla chips and guacamole. With a laid-back reggae vibe, friendly staff, and consistently delicious food, it’s a fun and flavorful spot perfect for a quick lunch or dinner.

This isn’t your typical fast food—made fresh daily tortilla chips, beans with just the right amount of heat and fluffy rice. The taquitos, available in both flour and corn tortillas, are the star. I always enjoy the classic shredded beef in corn tortillas, but my favorite has become the chicken taquitos in flour tortillas—softer, flavorful, and still satisfyingly crispy on the outside. A fun twist on a traditional taquito that I haven’t found elsewhere.

Linda and I often share the four-pack combo which includes rice and beans with a bit of a kick. And, of course, the four taquitos that come with generous toppings. If we're extra hungry, we’ll add the street corn on a stick and a side of fresh made chips and guacamole—trust me, fresh-made tortilla chips make a difference .

Whether you're dining inside or out (seating for about eight), the space is clean, quick, and always welcoming. Plus, they offer party packs of taquitos—perfect for hosting guests or feeding a hungry group back at the resort.

For those in the RVing lifestyle, who call ORI home—or are considering it—Roll-Em-Up Taquitos is a great example of the fun, flavorful local eats that make the Palm Springs valley such a great place to stay. Quick, unique, and always satisfying.
