In this update, our dedicated volunteers are wrapping up the meticulous work on the clubhouse shutters—bringing an end to the long hours of sanding and prep as the next phase approaches. Efforts turned to the Owner's Lounge shutters this week at Outdoor Resort Indio as a team of dedicated volunteers stepped in to sand and prep the large wood panels for refinishing. These shutters are a signature feature of the lounge, and their restoration is part of the ongoing clubhouse remodel. While the sanding dust settled, progress continued behind the scenes—vendors are currently being interviewed and selected for the upcoming café demolition and bathroom tile installation. As of mid-May, major progress has been made: electrical wiring is nearly complete, and bathroom drywall is being textured in preparation for beautiful new tile work. Here’s the latest look at the exciting clubhouse remodel at Outdoor Resort Indio! In this update, the cleanup from the removal of the three fireplaces is complete, and crews are hard at work filling in the remaining wall openings. Wiring has been run throughout much of the clubhouse to support the new audio-video systems, and concrete has been cut in the ballroom and owners lounge to accommodate the upgrades. Materials are now arriving for the rebuild of the bathrooms near the ballroom—another big step forward. Momentum is building as we head toward a stunning grand reopening in November. Exciting changes are underway at Outdoor Resort Indio! In this behind-the-scenes look, we take you inside the early stages of the clubhouse renovation. The stage floor is being prepped, old tile is coming out, debris is being cleared, and the bathrooms have been taken down to the studs. This ambitious remodel is all part of ORI’s ongoing commitment to elevating the resort experience for our vibrant Class A motorcoach community. The project is on track for a grand reveal just in time for the start of next season—and we can’t wait to share the transformation with you!

Watch as two full days of deconstruction unfold: bathrooms are stripped down to the studs, carpeting and sound baffles come down, and the tops of the clubhouse bars are removed. Outside, new materials are staged and ready for the next phase. Over in the Owners' Lounge, the carpet is gone, walls are prepped for upgraded TV and sound wiring, and the old entertainment center is on its way out. You'll even catch a glimpse of new paint and stain being tested on beams and walls as the vision for the updated space starts to take shape.

Clubhouse Clean-Out Kicks Off Renovation at ORI On April 9th, volunteers at Outdoor Resort Indio came together to clear out the clubhouse, filling containers with salvageable items and prepping for the exciting remodel ahead. Clubhouse Update – April 5, 2025 The remodel at Outdoor Resort Indio is officially underway! On April 5th, residents took turns swinging a sledgehammer to break ground on the clubhouse renovation. The ballroom, owner's lounge, library, game room, and café are all getting a fresh new look. The project is expected to be completed by November!
